Head of Human Resources Operations

I. Job Purpose:  

  • Oversee all HR practices and operations such as payroll, HR system management, compensation & benefits, performance evaluation, staffing…in smooth procedures. Responsibilities include designing budgets, cost and headcount control, update and build policies to ensure our HR department operates efficiently and aligns with our business objectives. Oversees HR initiatives related to job evaluations, employee relations, HR system, updated labor law ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations. Creates value through proactive approaches that will affect performance outcome or control cost.

II. Job Accountabilities:

  • Manage processing of salary payment, and day to day staffing related matters.
  • Manage full spectrum of HR including performance management; job evaluations/classifications; C&B; employee relations; organizational development.
  • Ensure HR initiatives are aligned with business strategy, HR policies and programs responding to personal needs of employees, HR processes and programs to increase the organization‘s capability to change.
  • Set HR policies & procedure and reporting format as appropriate to ensure compliance with local regulations as necessary.
  • Initiating annual salary review and ensuring alignment of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) standards across the Company.
  • In charge of HR audit to ensure all procedures are aligned with company policies, including but not limited to frequent visits to stores to conduct HR audits and communicate with frontliners.
  • Maintain relationship and contact with external HR professional community to keep updated of latest HR best practices and with Government for any change in labor law requirements.
  • Monitor our remuneration package to ensure competitiveness in the market and able to retain and motivate people.
  • Implement functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations.
  • Review and update our employment contracts and agreements.
  • Prepare and manage budgets by department.
  • Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required.
  • Measure the effectiveness of our benefits programs and recommend improvements.
  • Track key HR metrics like headcount, cost per hire and retention rates.
  • Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics.
  • Other tasks are as assigned by Line Manager.

III. Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or relevant field.
  • 5-years experience as similar responsibilities of similar organizations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of organizational development principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, result-driven.
  • Knowledge of HR Information System and labor law.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • Good at problem solving, planning, reporting and leadership skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken & written English and Vietnamese.
  • Literate in Microsoft word, Excel, Power point.
